Renew Dental Arts has re-opened for business!
Due to the risks associated with COVID-19 and recommendations by the Indiana Dental Association, as well as the American Dental Association, our Indianapolis dental office has implemented some new procedures and protocols until further notice.
- To limit contact between patients, our reception area has closed. An in-car waiting policy applies, and we ask that patients call us when they park or arrive on foot. We will then call them back when we are ready to seat them with their provider.
- Once inside the office, patients will be provided with hand sanitizer and have a temperature check via a touchless thermometer. Any patient with a fever over 100 degrees farenheit will not be seen.
- We have created a clockwise flow to the office, to eliminate patients crossing paths as they enter or exit treatment rooms.
- Dental hygienists and Dr. Miller have been wearing increased PPE to protect patients as well as themselves.
- We have removed magazines and other literature from the reception and consultation rooms, as these items cannot be sanitized.
- While our coffee and water station is still available, we have moved it to behind the front desk. Please ask if you would like a beverage!
- We have also added plexiglass barriers to our check-in and checkout areas.
Some good has come of this time as well - we now are truly paperless! Patients can now fill out medical history forms, consent forms, and more via their own devices or on our office iPad (which is sanitized after every use). We also now have online dental appointment scheduling, which works especially well if you need to schedule an emergency dental appointment in the middle of the night ;)
We are pretty pleased with how our staff has been able to adapt to these changes. We are also super grateful for all of our wonderful patients who keep trusting us with their oral health care - we love you guys!
If you are looking for a new dentist in Indianapolis during this time, or need a second opinion on an issue you are experiencing, please don't hesitate to call our office at 317-602-8924 or schedule your own appointment online by clicking here!
Renew Dental Arts is located in downtown Indianapolis at 2205 N Delaware St Ste 103, Indianapolis, IN 46205-4363.
Dr. Christopher Miller is pleased to announce that he has been in practice at Renew Dental Arts in Indianapolis for 3 years now!
Dr. Miller founded Renew Dental Arts in 2016, and we have grown quickly! The communities of Herron Morton, the Old Northside, Fallcreek Place, and downtown Indianapolis have embraced our dental office and welcomed us with open arms.
We have seen tremendous growth over the last 3 years, and we have expanded both our hours and services available to patients. For example, we purchased a 3D printer that will benefit our patients by allowing us to take digital scans of the patient's teeth instead of molds with goopy mold material that nobody likes. This way, we have more accurate records, and we can reprint them at any time!
We have also added various staff members over in the past three years. Madison (hygienist) and Mark (front office) were our original two staff members, and we have since added Megan (assistant), Crystal (hygienist), and Nadia (front office). We look forward to hiring additional staff as we grow!
We have also enjoyed taking part in various community events that help to build our relationships with our neighbors, both residential and commercial. Every spring we participate in the annual Fall Creek Block Party, and every fall we participate in the Fall Creek Fall Fest. These are fun events that feature locals restaurants, businesses, and activities for both adults and kids. It's been great to meet so many of our neighbors at these events and to get to know them better!
We recently had a reason to celebrate - Dr. Miller celebrated the big 4.0.!
Dr. Miller loves fishing, and so we adopted this theme for his birthday party. We had a fun week celebrating and it was a lot of fun to spend it with our great patients here in Indianapolis!
Patients could try their hand at fishing, and won various prizes including a Sonicare electric toothbrush, gift cards, teeth whitening, movie tickets, and more!
Lake water was also available for the bravest patients to try - luckily it's delicious punch made from limeade, lime sherbet, and Sprite. Yum!
These balloons are called spiral balloons, and we used the green and blue ones to make it look like kelp or seaweed. Sadly they only floated for about a day :(
We had snacks available all week for both patients who had appoinments, as well as anyone who wanted to stop by. To keep with the fishing theme we thought up some creative names - what do you think?
We also thought that this remote control bass fish would be a fun addition to the party. You can actually move it's tail left and right to make it "swim", and it moves through the air! It's about 4 feet long - imagine reeling that in!
Here is Dr. Miller with his birthday cake - it was delicious!
Here at our Indianapolis downtown dental office, we LOVE to find reasons to celebrate things big or small. Whether it's a team member having a birthday, a baby finding success in nursing after a Tongue Tie Corrections, or a patient finishing up their full mouth restoration with final Implant-Supported Dentures Could Improve Your Bone Health, these are all accomplishments and parts of the milestones of life! Big or small, and we want to celebrate them with you!
